L: The price of eggs in Taiwan is soaring, and we can’t buy eggs anywhere. What happened?
ChatDPP: This is a rumor made by cyber warriors. It's not a fact.
L: Cyber warriors? You mean the DPP cyber warriors?
ChatDPP: DPP does not have cyber warriors. ChatDPP reminds you that eggs have nothing to do with political parties.
L: I just went to a PX Mart in Daan District, Taipei City. The eggs on the shelves are almost sold out, and there is also a purchase limit. The notice clearly says "the supply of eggs has been tight recently". Please see the picture below for proof. Please explain.
ChatDPP: This is fake news - it is most likely related to the CCP’s suppression of Taiwan. The Minister of the Council of Agriculture - Chen Chi-Chung (left) and the Vice Premier of Taiwan - Cheng Wen-tsan (right) inspected stores a few days ago. The shelves are full of eggs. Please see the picture below for proof. ChatDPP once again condemns Fake News & Disinformation.
L: Cheng Wen-tsan? Isn’t he the mayor of Taoyuan City? In September 2022, the Bade People’s Sports Center in Taoyuan City collapsed due to a magnitude 3 quake. It occurred less than 24 hours after the construction was completed! Only 5 months later, he was promoted to be the Vice Premier of Taiwan? Isn’t he responsible for the contracting and acceptance of the project for the Taoyuan City Government? Please watch the following video for proof. It’s terrible!
ChatDPP: As the video shows, this was a 6.8 magnitude earthquake. A 6.8 magnitude earthquake is equal to the power of 8 atomic bombs.
L: 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Taitung, the epicenter. Taoyuan had a magnitude 3 quake. If a magnitude 3 quake would cause such a huge collapse, many places in Taiwan should have been razed to the ground long ago. How did the Cheng Wen-tsan City Government prove and accept the construction at that time?
ChatDPP: You digressed. ChatDPP reminds you that eggs have nothing to do with earthquakes.
L: Okay, back to the egg question. You still haven't answered me. Why can't I find eggs in the store near my house?
ChatDPP: ChatDPP has already answered your question. There are sufficient egg sources in Taiwan. Chen Chi-Chung, Minister of the Council of Agriculture and Cheng Wen-tsan, Vice Premier of Taiwan have confirmed a few days ago (the above picture is provided as proof). The Council of Agriculture established the "National Egg team" in April, 2020. There are more than 1,800 laying hen farms in Taiwan, laying eggs on time 24 hours a day, with a daily output of 22 million eggs. Everyone has eggs to eat and there is no need to hoard eggs. Please watch the following video for proof.
L: Taiwan has an "National Egg team"? And it was established in April 2020!? And we are guaranteed to provide 22 million eggs every day? Doesn’t that mean that almost everyone can eat one egg every day? So, why are we still having the egg shortage now? The price of eggs is also much higher than before!

L: But even McDonald’s has suspended the supply of egg products. This is the first time ever! Please see the picture below as proof. Is there really no egg shortage?
ChatDPP: McDonald's PR Department responded: Egg supply for McDonald is normal. Thank you for your support. Due to the sales of breakfast egg products in some restaurants exceeding expectations on weekends, a few egg products are temporarily unavailable. Apologies for any inconveniences.
L: Got it. So over the past many years, McDonald’s sales on weekend breakfast egg products was just average, and sales has never exceeded expectations. That’s interesting!
ChatDPP: ChatDPP reminds you again that you have digressed several times. ChatDPP reminds you that eggs have nothing to do with McDonald's.
L: According to you, there is no egg shortage in Taiwan. Taiwan has already prepared and thought ahead. Taiwan has a National Egg Team that has been in operation for three years! The National Egg Team guarantees that Taiwan has 1,800 laying hen farms, laying eggs on time 24 hours a day, with a daily egg production of 22 million. Everyone has eggs to eat, and no need to hoard eggs. And, the price of eggs remains stable. Is it?
ChatDPP: Correct. Best Regards from ChatDPP.
L: Great! If I go to the same PX Mart again today, I should see the shelves full of eggs, the egg price remains no change, and there will be no notice of limited purchase?
